The name Rosemary is a combination of two words, ‘Ros’ meaning ‘dew’ and ‘Marinus’ meaning “of the sea”, therefore the dew of the sea. Rosemary is an endemic plant of the Mediterranean, and it’s a trait of the Greek flora. It’s an excellent spice and beverage which is used as a natural medicine for centuries. In ancient Greece it was believed that it has antioxidant and tonic properties, due to its high content in iron, calcium, and vitamin B6.
Ratio: One g. Herb per 100 g. water. First, add the water and then add the herb. Allow it to rest 7 to 10 minutes covered up outside of the fire and then strain it. If we wish we can add honey or sugar.
